Butterscotch	Caramelised apples (toffee apples?), with a trace of cinnamon which increasingly becomes coconut (coconut tablet), and a hint of jasmine and sherbet. The latter increases with water, with a trace of citronella, which lends freshness, and a scent of new car interiors. The flavour is fresh and sweetish, with an acid-drop acidity, a slightly ascerbic mouthfeel (cleansing) and bags of coconut in the finish.	Ikke vurdert smak.
Balanse: Lovely balance. Oppsummering: There was plenty of activity left in this re-made hogshead, producing an elegant blend of distillery and mature character in his Top Class malt.

Full gold	Oh, this is interesting, this one smells much waxier and even more phenolic than most Linkwoods we could try. Notes of linseed oil, paraffin, olive oil... It gets then more vegetal and a little resinous (pine needles), then more candied and jammy (very ripe yellow plums, honey sauce), and finally very minty, with big notes of a pack of mint drops that you just opened. Also dried flowers, roses... Oh, and also a beautifully balanced sherry in the background, probably second fill. This is very beautiful.	Oh yes, this is beautiful, sweet like a candy store but firm like, like... Whatever. A true hotchpotch of various jams, honeys, sweets, jellies, pastries, and spices.
Ettersmak: Only the finish is maybe a little less assertive and a little simpler, more on ‘simple’ caramel and honey. Oppsummering: One for Hansel und Gretel?
